Atlantic Rally of Tanzania 2022
A sad day for team Subaru as this season of FIA African Rally Championship (ARC) concludes without a win. The event took place in Tanzania on the outskirts of Arusha started on 22nd and ended on 24th of July 2022.
Karan Patel a Kenyan driving Ford Fiesta R5 racked up enough points to place first position followed by Lorey Gomes from Zambia also driving a Ford Fiesta.
A total of 29 cars participated on the race including 9 Subaru Imprezas none of which made it to top five in final results of the ARC. At the national level one Tufail Amin with an Impreza GC8 emerged winner by cloaking an impressive 2:08:45 ahead of Munge Rally Team with an Evo IX leaving behind the likes of Evo X and Skoda.
